ThunderClan Deputies

Since Secrets Of The Clans neglected having a deputies section, I decided to write up my own for Warrior's Wish, because in light of recent characters in Firestar's Quest, the SotC version is now incomplete. Sister sections include ThunderClan Medicine Cats and ThunderClan leaders.

Lightningtail
Little is known about Lightningtail's time as the first deputy of ThunderClan.

Apprentices: Unknown

Owleyes
Owleyes was a legendary hunter who learned her hunting methods from the stalking of a tawny owl at night. She became the second leader of ThunderClan.
Description: Dark gray she-cat with large, unblinking amber eyes.
Apprentices: Unknown

Seedpelt
Little is known about Seedpelt's time as the deputy of ThunderClan at the time of SkyClan's exile.
Description: Gray she-cat with darker flecks.
Apprentices: Unknown

Tawnyspots
Tawnyspots was the calm deputy of ThunderClan for many moons, but she had to retire from old age and pass her title on.

Bluefur
Bluefur would not have been made deputy if her kits had not disappeared under mysterious circumstances as a queen. She made a sacrifice to give her kits secretly to RiverClan in order to secure a position of deputy instead of Thistleclaw, who she feared would lead the Clan to ruin.
Description: Gray-blue she-cat with icy blue eyes.
Apprentices: Frostpaw (Frostfur), Runningpaw (Runningwind), Firepaw (Fireheart)

Redtail
Redtail is the first deputy in the first book, Into The Wild, though we know him only fleetingly. Redtail was a just and loyal deputy to Bluestar, but was brutally murdered by his ambitious Clanmate, Tigerclaw.

Lionheart
Lionheart was a courageous tom who was pleased to inherit the position of deputy from Redtail. Unfortunately, his time as deputy was short lived when he died in battle with ShadowClan.

Apprentices: Graypaw (Graystripe)

Tigerclaw
Tigerclaw's ambition to be deputy was finally fulfilled when Lionheart died and Bluestar appointed him deputy. But this is not enough for the treacherous tom, and he arranges to murder Bluestar. His deputy-ship is forfeited when he fails.
Description: A big dark brown tabby with unusually long front claws.
Apprentices: Ravenpaw

Fireheart
A young warrior, Fireheart is the 'light' of ThunderClan, and uncovered the deceit of Tigerclaw, the former deputy. Fireheart faced a tough deputyship when his leader lost her judgment and turned her back on StarClan.

Apprentices: Cinderpaw (Cinderepelt), Cloudpaw (Cloudtail), Bramblepaw (Brambleclaw)

Whitestorm
One of ThunderClan's most senior warriors, Whitestorm was an obvious choice for deputyship. He assisted his leader greatly with wisdom and experience, but died in battle knowing it would be his last.

Graystripe
Named deputy by his predecessor at death, Graystripe was made deputy primary because he was Fireheart's best friend. When Firestar goes on a quest in Firestar's Quest Graystripe runs the Clan. But three books later, in Dawn Graystripe is kidnapped by twolegs, leaving ThunderClan deputy-less.

Brambleclaw
Finally, when ThunderClan is desperate for a deputy with Graystripe still away, Firestar names Brambleclaw the new deputy after Brambleclaw chooses Firestar's life over his own ambition.
