Stormfur is the spitting image of his father. He has a sturdy, muscular frame with long dark gray fur, and deep amber eyes
PERSONALITY
Stormfur's strong, protective and noble attitude was greatly shaped by his mentor, the great Stonefur, but he still has inherited some of his father's attributes like his loyalty to his friends. He is strong, logical and quietly authoritative, but like his father, has no ambition to lead others.
HISTORY
We know of Stormfur's kittenhood well, even though he was raised in RiverClan. In Forest Of Secrets the illicit relationship between Silverstream of RiverClan and Graystripe of ThunderClan is revealed in a tragic kitting gone-wrong. Silverstream dies, but her two children, Stormkit and Featherkit, live on with half-blood origins.
Both kits are claimed by RiverClan, but Graystripe makes the decision to follow them to their mother's Clan, so blood will not be shed over them. Stormkit is apprenticed to Stonefur, while his sister, Featherkit, is apprenticed to Stonefur's sister Mistyfoot. Later on, Graystripe rejoins ThunderClan, but his kits stay behind.
Stormfur would have left the story from then on, but Feathertail is chosen as the cat to find Midnight in The New Prophecy. Protective of his sister's welfare, Stornfur insists on following her on the dangerous journey. In Moonrise we learn more about the world from Stormfur's eyes, including the tragic moment when the life of his sister ends.
When the chosen five return Stormfur learns of another devastating blow--his father has been taken by twolegs, and in the eyes of most he is good as dead. Stormfur is resigned when he meets Brook of The Tribe Of Rushing Water again in Dawn. With no reason to stay in RiverClan, Stormfur admits his feelings for the she-cat and stays with her when the Clans leave.
However, Stormfur and Brook visit the Clans in Twilight. Though they hadn't planned to stay, RiverClan will not accept them, and the mysterious circumstances behind them leaving The Tribe are promised to be revealed in The Outcast, book three of The Power Of Three.
