Spottedleaf is a beautiful dark dappled tortoiseshell she-cat with amber eyes, white paws, black tipped tail, and a white muzzle.
Spottedleaf had a charming personality. In Into The Wild she has quick retorts to Tigerstar's questioning, and takes easy control of a situation as she is not afraid to tell people to get lost when she's working. Especially in dreams, Spottedleaf is soft-spoken and wise, but she worries often about the fates of her favorite cats outside StarClan.

Spottedleaf receives a prophecy at the beginning of this book [ITW0], that "Fire alone will save the clan", because of it Bluestar invites Firepaw into the Clan [ITW2]. Shortly before her death at the paws of Clawface [ITW20], Spottedleaf shares the words of the prophecy with Firepaw [ITW19].
GENERAL
Spottedleaf is very important in the chapter that started the warrior series--she receives the prophecy that leads Bluestar to invite kitty-pet Firepaw into the Clan. It is revealed she is a very skilled interpreter of StarClan's signs.
In Into The Wild Spottedleaf is murdered by Clawface and joins the ranks of StarClan. There, she begins to walk in Fireheart's dreams, and is often the one to deliver him a prophecy or advice. In The New Prophecy Spottedleaf returns again to help Leafpaw, Firestar's daughter, and in The Power Of Three she saves Jaypaw time and time again.
