Speckletail is a grouchy, old fashioned and bad-tempered, but given a chance, she has a kind heart that she grudgingly shows.

GENERAL
Speckletail is an elderly queen at the time of Into the Wild, so little of her life is known. Though she remains an assisting and experienced she-cat instead of returning to the Warrior's den, we only see one of Speckletail's litter - Snowkit, a blind tomkit. Unfortunately, he is stolen from the camp by a hawk, and it breaks Speckletail's heart. She decides to retire to the warrior's den afterwards.
