Redtail is an small, unusual dark and dappled tortoiseshell tom with a bright, bushy ginger tail.
PERSONALITY
Little is known about the cat who is ThunderClan's deputy at the beginning of Into the Wild. He has a strong sense of justice, and good judgment, untampered by a common desire to fight to the death of his Clanmates. His value of justice makes him a noble cat, and what we see of him in The Darkest Hour, proves he is a cat of honor and quiet authority.

INTO THE WILD Listed as ThunderClan deputy: Redtail
Redtail was the deputy of ThunderClan in before the events of Into The Wild. While fighting RiverClan at sunningrocks, Redtail's companion, Tigerclaw, turns on him. Though Tigerclaw is Redtail's clanmate, he discards the warrior code and murders the deputy in hopes of succeeding him.
