Ravenpaw is a skinny black tom with a glossy black pelt and a white dash on his chest and tip of tail. He has been described with both green and amber eyes.
PERSONALITY
Ravenpaw is a skittish and jumpy apprentice, made such by the bullying of his mentor. Though he is friendly enough as an apprentice, he was constantly paranoid and easily frightened. Later on, he becomes contented and friendlier, and proves himself to be capable and brave in The Darkest Hour.

GENERAL
Ravenpaw is the only witness to the murder of Redtail, which causes him great misfortune in the first few books. Constantly fearful of his mentor, the sinister Tigerclaw, Ravenpaw is endlessly bullied and placed in harms way, and only confides his secret testimony to Firepaw and Graypaw. When Tigerclaw places the idea in the Clan that Ravenpaw is a traitor, his time is up, and Firepaw and Graypaw help him to make a harrowing escape to the barn on the edge of WindClan territory, where he is welcomed by the friendly loner Barley. Though he returns to help the Clan in The Darkest Hour Ravenpaw reclines an invitation back and stays with Barely at the barn. Every time he is seen later in the series he is sleek and contented.
