Abandoned as an elder, Nightpelt is an old friend of Yellowfang's, and with the help of a ThunderClan patrol they liberate ShadowClan from Brokenstar's rule [ITW24].
GENERAL Nightpelt was one of the abandoned elders of ShadowClan under Brokenstar's rule. He helped to liberate the ShadowClan camp and became leader after Brokenstar - although StarClan never granted him nine lives, because Brokenstar was still alive.
