Heatherpaw is a pretty light tabby she-cat with eyes the colour of the late-afternoon sky. Originally, Kate Cary (Erin Hunter) wanted to have Heatherpaw's eyes violet, but it was rejected as unrealistic. Instead, her eyes have been confirmed as blue - but Kate will gloss over the exact shade and says she images them as violet-blue.
PERSONALITY
Heatherpaw is a kind, playful WindClan apprentice. For the short time we see her, she shows concern, empathy and a sense of humor.
HISTORY
Heatherpaw is seen briefly within The Sight, in which she approaches Lionpaw at a gathering and questions him with concerns for Jaypaw. In Dark River she develops a closer friendship with him, and they agree to meet secretly. Unfortunately Lionpaw's sister, Hollypaw, discovers them and tells them that they must stop seeing eachother. Heatherpaw discovers underground tunnels that lead through all the territories and Lionpaw and her begin meeting again. Though they develop a close friendship, Lionpaw decides in the end that as they are in different Clans, they can not have such a close friendship. Heatherpaw helps to rescue the three WindClan kits Sedgekit, Thistlekit and Swallowkit from the tunnels at the end of Dark River.
