PHYSICAL

Cinderpelt is a young, dark gray she-cat, with blue eyes. Her back leg is twisted from an accident on the Thunderpath, so she know walks with a heavy limp.

PERSONALITY

Cinderpelt is witty and exuberant, just as she was as an apprentice. However now, age, as well as StarClan, has brought her wisdom and good judgment as a medicine cat. She's always reading to help her Clan, and she's young and friendly.

HISTORY

As an apprentice, Cinderpaw was assigned her mentor-- Fireheart. Fireheart found it hard to control Cinderpaw's high-energy and strong-willed manner. He became more of a friend then just a mentor, but her disobedience cost her what she had always wanted. Dustpelt came back to camp one day, requesting Bluestar meet Tigerclaw at the Thunderpath. Bluestar was ill, and Fireheart had to fetch catnip for her Greencough, so he said he would meet Tigerclaw after he got the catnip. Dustpelt was persistent that it was important, and Cinderpaw offered to go. Fireheart told her no, that it was too dangerous, but as soon as he left she headed there herself. The thunderpath was a trap set by Tigerstar-- for Bluestar. In her place, Cinderpaw was hit by a monster, and although she lived, her back leg was twisted, making it impossible for her to continue training as a warrior.

Cinderpaw would have continued her life in the elder's den, but Yellowfang proposed an idea to her. The life of a medicine cat could still be achieved if Cinderpaw wanted. She accepted, and trained under the guidance of Yellowfang until her mentor died, at which point she became the new medicine cat of ThunderClan. Fireheart, her former mentor, and her remained friends, and Cinderpelt was loved by all the Clans for her helpful and friendly manner. All were greived, when Cinderpelt was killed by a badger, a fate she had seen in her dreams.

A mysterious event occurs in Sunset, when Spottedleaf reveals to Leafpool that Cinderpelt has other important duties in StarClan. She shows Leafpool Cinderkit, one of Sorreltail's new kits. Cinderkit looks just like Cinderpelt, with the same intelligent sparkle in her eyes...
