PHYSICAL
Long-haired dark brown tabby with torn ears and a broad, flat face with orange eyes. Tail bent in the middle like a broken branch.

PERSONALITY
Cold, ambitious and ruthless, Brokenstar was the most violent dictator in the forest, his crimes surpassing that of the main antagonist Tigerclaw. War hungry and murderous, Brokenstar did what he pleased, from killing kits to murdering his own father.

Brokenstar's name, as the name of his Clan, hangs over the forest like a storm cloud. Sinister things are happening within ShadowClan border, and the cruel Brokenstar is the cause. Before Into The Wild and during it, Brokenstar ravages ShadowClan by training underage warriors, abandoning elders, banishing WindClan, demanding more territory, and turning his Clan into an instrument of war.

Among his admitted crimes in this book is the murder of his father, Raggedstar, and the murder of Brightflower's two kits Mosspaw and Volepaw: a crime which he frames Yellowfang, ShadowClan's medicine cat with. Yellowfang joins ThunderClan, and in the end assists in the liberation of ShadowClan. Brokenstar is banished with his comrades, but promises revenge.
