PHYSICAL

A long-legged golden-brown tabby tom.

PERSONALITY

Brackenfur is responsible, loyal, and optimistic at his best, while he still retains some of his hesitancy and thoughtfulness of his youth.

HISTORY

Brackenfur was born into ThunderClan in Into The Wild. His sister Cinderpaw was kidnapped with him by ShadowClan deputy Blackfoot, and they were eventually rescued by Yellowfang and ThunderClan. They were apprenticed to Graystripe and Fireheart, but when Graystripe fell in love with a RiverClan she-cat and neglected Brackenpaw's training, Fireheart stepped in to help him. Brackenpaw finally got his warrior name in Forest Of Secrets. As a young warrior, Brackenfur took a particular interest in Snowkit, the deaf son of Speckletail. Fireheart all but promised him Snowkit as an apprentice, so when Snowkit died, Brackenfur received Tawnypaw as an apprentice, until she left for ShadowClan.

At the end of The New Prophecy Brackenfur and Sorreltail become mates, and they have kits who play an important role in The Power Of Three.
