HISTORY

FIRE AND ICE
Unlisted (Brindeface's son, Ashkit)
Ashkit, his sister Fernkit break the warrior code to attempt hunting outside the camp lead by their adopted brother Cloudkit. They catch a vole in the blizzard, and are rescued by a frantic ThunderClan patrol.

RISING STORM
listed as ThunderClan apprentice: Ashpaw
Ashpaw first appears in the allegiances of this book, although he is mentioned as being Brindleface's son in FOREST OF SECRETS. He is apprenticed to Dustpelt and begins training in the warriors den. He is not seen a lot, but it is mentioned that he is friends with Cloudpaw, and attests to his trust in the white apprentice to Cloudpaw's mentor, Fireheart.

A DANGEROUS PATH
listed as ThunderClan apprentice: Ashpaw
In this book Ashpaw's beloved mother Brindleface is killed by Tigerclaw to lay a path for the dog pack. Ashpaw, determined to make up for the death of his mother somehow, plays a key role in leading the dog pack away from the trail with his sister Fernpaw.

THE DARKEST HOUR
listed as ThunderClan apprentice: Ashpaw
Ashpaw is seen little within this book. He is mentioned as being part of the pack of apprentices that brings down Bone, deputy of BloodClan.

MIDNIGHT
listed as ThunderClan warrior: Ashfur

DAWN
listed as ThunderClan warrior: Ashfur
Ashfur is one of the few cats pleased to see Squirrelflight return before the Clan learns of the journey.

STARLIGHT
listed as ThunderClan warrior: Ashfur
In this book Ashfur begins to develop a close relationship with ThunderClan apprentice Squirrelflight when she has a fight with Brambleclaw. Ashfur also receives his first apprentice, Birchpaw, which makes him a possible candidate for the new position of deputy.

TWILIGHT
listed as ThunderClan leader: Firestar
Ashfur continues to develop a relationship with Squirrelflight, and becomes a target for Brambleclaw's hostilities as a result.

SUNSET
listed as ThunderClan warrior: Ashfur
This book is tragic for Ashfur, when Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw are brought together and Squirrelflight decides that they are destined to remain that way. She lets Ashfur know this, much to his devastation. He calls upon Brambleclaw's linage and mentions the death of his mother in an attempt to try and dissuade Squirrelflight, to no avail. He is obviously bitter, and lets the entire Clan know this later when (during a clan meeting) he challenges Leafpool with the idea that she has created a "sign" from StarClan to help her sister's mate (Brambleclaw) become deputy. Squirrelflight violently lunges at Ashfur, but Brambleclaw holds her back.

Ashfur continues to train Birchpaw, and is defensive of his training techniques when questioned by Brambleclaw, before leaving with his apprentice on an assessment. Firestar mentions when dying in the foxtrap that Birchpaw mentioned to him that Blackstar was on their territory, even though the apprentice was away with Ashfur - something is obviously amiss. Ashfur appears back in ThunderClan camp to get help; he has seen Brambleclaw and Hawkfrost around Firestar's body. Leafpool and Squirrelflight follow Ashfur's fear scent to the scene.

THE SIGHT
listed as ThunderClan warrior: Ashfur
Ashfur is seen little within this book. He appears to have gotten over Squirrelflight, and is mentioned as sharing tongues with Whitewing.
