BlueTiger Downer!

A very interesting pairing often talked about in the Warriors community, BlueTiger is one that I think is possible but quite illogical and either cliché or stupid. I’m not too sure which I think of it, maybe both. There is one thing that, to me, that makes this pairing simply impossible. See, back when Redtail died Bluestar did not name Tigerstar her deputy, or even look at him during the ceremony. Another thing that makes it an unlikely scenario is that it seemed more like she had feelings for Redtail than anyone else, even after his death,

“And Redtail was the most honorable warrior I have ever known.’ Bluestar’s eyes clouded with pain, and Fireheart felt a pang of dismay that he should have hurt her memory for her former deputy, even if unintentionally.” Yes, she was shocked by what he did, and felt completely betrayed, by everyone, even StarClan, but her own deputy, chosen by her, wanted to kill her! I mean who isn’t going to feel completely betrayed? This cat caused her to lose her past two friends, and deputies, and she had picked him to be the next leader of the Clan she loved, it would be hard for her to even trust herself after that, let alone anyone else.

There isn’t any great evidence to support such a radical theory, and I really don’t like the pairing either. It doesn’t fit, and there are a lot of other cats I’d pair with Bluestar before Tigerstar. On a final note, Bluestar doesn’t seem like one that would have a forbidden relationship, not after having to regret the last time she did something so stupid.
