The official publishing summary of Warriors: Omen of the Stars #1: The Fourth Apprentice ended with somewhat cryptic statement, "The Fourth Apprentice also contains the first adventure in the Warriors role-playing game."

What is an in-book role playing game? Blizz e-mailed Victoria Holmes to find out:

"The book role-playing game has been developed as an add-on at the end of each book in the new series. I haven't been directly involved in it so I can't speak with any authority on the contents, but it will basically be a chance to choose a character in a story and steer it through a number of different situations, both in the special section at the end of the books and online. Do you have those Make Your Own Adventure stories over there? Where there are a number of possibilities for you as the hero, such as "If you go through the door, turn to pg 19. If you stay on the path, turn to pg 15." That kind of thing but with better graphics, I guess." - e-mail correspondence with Victoria Holmes

Likely, there will be a short mini-chapter at the back of each book in the new series. After reading it, fans will have to go online and vote on which way to steer the character. This is just a theory; we can't know how the system will work until it is released on warriorcats.com
