THE SIGHT
A review written by Blizz, 2007

I just finished The Sight a few minutes ago--and if you were disappointed by The New Prophecy, seriously consider buying this book. The Power Of Three, Book 1 was a travel to the days of Firepaw's past, the continuation of a legacy, and startling reminders of an impending doom.

Like Into The Wild, The Sight offers us another look into the adventures of apprentices. But the road of warriorship is not easy for young Hollypaw, Jaypaw, or Lionpaw. Facing the pressures of their ancestors and with only the foolishness of youth to guide them, the three are sure to face tough challenges, and make mistakes that could lead them to walk a path without starlight to guide them.

Fresh faces, sad departures, and old friends all play a part in The Sight. The book is filled with heartwarming affections between our favorite Clans, while at the same time does not fail to cast an ominous light over what promises to be a great six book saga. No ties are left undone from the last book, Sunset, and the conclusions to the romances and drama still hang in the air, with unsatisfied tensions.

Deceit and suspicion darken the forest like a storm cloud willing to break, and even StarClan will be unable to change what has been set in motion. The conclusion of the book is complete with an ominous thought that will leave you shaking with fear and regret... The Power Of Three has begun.
