Warriors; the famous series by Erin Hunter; who hasn't heard of it? Into the Wild is the first book in this epic feline saga. First you meet the ordinary house cat, or kittypet, Rusty, and follow him into the forest where he meets some of the feral cats living there. Their leader asks him to join the Clan, and he accepts. Rusty is brought into ThunderClan, one of four wild Clans, and goes through a name change.



He is now Firepaw and is apprenticed to the great leader herself. Firepaw meets a cat who he soon finds out killed a Clanmate, and wants to kill Firepaw's friend Ravenpaw. Who is this cat? Will Firepaw ever be a true warrior? Will the secrets of the evil cat be unfolded? Find out in Warriors Book 1: Into the Wild, and follow the cats throughout the whole series. Find the true meaning to the prophecy, 'Fire Alone Can Save Our Clan.' Into the Wild is a wonderful, amazing, truly perfect feline journey to find truth. It definitely deserves the award that it has won, which is 3rd prize in the YRCA 2006. Hooray for Into the Wild!
