Front cover - The mysterious-looking cover of the third book is fitting for it's title and plot. Outlined at nighttime, two cats stealthily cross the stepping stones on the river to the other side.
Back cover - No other cats are present on the back cover, but the stepping stones continue.

A continuation of the front cover feature the tail and end of the cat who is seen on the stepping stones on the front cover. The fontflap features the shore, with reed-like water grass and stoness.
