Firepaw continues his hunting, and soon scents an intruder - a she-cat in a bad moon who does not belong to ThunderClan. The she-cat attacks him, but he soon overpowers her since she is old and sick. Defeated, she asks him for death, only to be surprised when Firepaw takes pity and catches her a rabbit. Giving into his own hunger, he gulps down the leftovers just before he hears a ThunderClan patrol approaching.
