Firepaw wakes up from more dreams and goes to see Spottedleaf for help with Graypaw's wounds. Spottedleaf has something else to give Firepaw - the words of a prophecy spoken before he entered the Clan. Firepaw is mystified, but has no time to dwell on her words; Bluestar is impatient to begin his battle training. Excited for a chance to speak with Bluestar on the matter of Tigerclaw's treachery, but the leaders battle training demands his concentration and he forgets to speak with her.
