Bluestar leads everyone back to camp, where she announces to the Clan of the gathering's happenings. She too worries about an alliance between Nightpelt and Crookedstar. Later on Fireheart and Graystripe are ordered to Bluestar's den, were she and Tigerclaw explain that they are to go on a warrior mission to bring WindClan back. They are excited, but she warns them it will be dangerous. They go to Yellowfang for traveling herbs, and Fireheart has bittersweet memories of Spottedleaf, ThunderClan's former medicine cat.
