The prologue of the second book in Warriors begins with the banished WindClan searching for a home. It's obvious that the Clan, especially the disgruntled queen Ashfoot are all worried for their future among the Thunderpaths, but Tallstar is stubborn. Deadfoot and Onewhisker find a tunnel with some fresh water and rats, and the Clan settles down for the night.
