Hi everyone!

Lots of news for you this month! Firstly, you sent the long-awaited Warriors Field Guide: Secrets of the Clans straight to #2 on the New York Times bestseller list, so huge (secret!) purrs to everyone who rushed out and bought a copy. It looks as if you love having background information on how the Clans came to be in the forest, and knowing exactly which herb cures a stomachache. Kate, Cherith, and I are very pleased, not just with how well the book is doing, but we now have our very own reference guide to use for future books. All those Clan ceremonies are hard to keep track of!

My spring tour seems a long time ago now, but you may remember from my tour diary that I wrote a ten-minute play called After Sunset: We Need to Talk, which had its World Premiere in the Secret Garden Bookshop in Seattle, WA. This was one of the highlights of my tour, with all the actors putting on Oscar-winning performances! Especially Leafpool, who seemed to understand exactly what she was—and wasn’t—saying. The good news is that if you missed this fabulous performance, you now have the chance to put on one of your own! The lovely folks who manage the Warriors website have agreed to post a link to the play script in its original form. If you look very closely, you might uncover a few secrets about Power of Three

As the title suggests, the play features a scene from life in the Clans between The New Prophecy, Book Six: Sunset and Power of Three, Book One: The Sight. Leafpool wants to speak to Crowfeather, but will she get the chance to tell him what’s on her mind? There’s a cast list at the beginning to help you divide up the parts, and I suggest you have a narrator, as well, to read out the scene-setting lines. Good luck!

Our website is the place to be right now, not just because you can print After Sunset for your very own Warriors action, but because a brand-new “Browse Inside” feature has been put in place for each title. If you’re like me, you love picking up new books in a real-world bookstore where you can read the inside covers and flick through the opening pages to see if the story grabs you right from the start. Well, now you can do exactly this on warriorcats.com for all your favorite titles! When you see a cover that catches your eye, click on the “Browse Inside” button and watch the book open in front of your eyes.

I hope you’re having a great Greenleaf. Have fun with the play script!

Very best wishes,
Erin
