Just when you thought
being a Warriors fan couldn’t get any more exciting . . . Not only
did
Power of Three Book One: The Sight
go straight in at #1 on all the major sales charts (including the
New York Times Bestseller List, yay!), but
The Lost Warrior, the first
book in the manga trilogy, reached #5 on the Publishers Weekly
chart for Comics & Graphic Novels. Special purrs to everyone who
made this possible by going out and buying copies (and extra special
purrs if you brought them to be signed while I was on tour). Right
now, Warriors rules!
Apologies for this newsletter being a bit late—I only got back from
the tour a week ago and I’ve been playing catch-up ever since.
Mostly reading all the fabulous fan-fiction and admiring the artwork
that I was given at the events. You are all so talented! Thank you so, so much if you came to
see me, and if I didn’t come to your area, don’t worry, I’ll be back
in October visiting even more cities so hopefully we can meet up
then. If you’d like to know more about what I was up to on tour, you

And the Warriors new book frenzy isn’t over yet! The end of this
month sees the release of
Secrets of the
Clans, a specially designed field guide to
the Warriors
world. The warrior code is listed in full for the first time ever,
plus you can remind yourselves of the exact words to all the naming
ceremonies. There’s a fabulous fold-out map showing both territories
and the entire Great Journey, including the mountains where the
Clans encountered the Tribe of Rushing Water. Cats from all four
Clans will give you a personal guided tour of their camps, too—both
forest and lake. I’m sure you’re as curious as I am to know what
goes on behind ShadowClan’s borders when their enemies aren’t
around!
You’ll also find a list of all the herbs and remedies used in the
books (not to be used on your own pets, please! Always, always
consult a veterinarian first!), as well as some more insight to your
favorite prophecies. And most excitingly of all, in my opinion,
there’s a chance to revisit several important scenes from a brand
new point of view. Ever wondered how StarClan felt when Bluefur gave
up her kits for the sake of her career? Or what went through
Brightpaw’s mind when she was ravaged by the dogs and given a cruel
new name by her Clan leader?
